  11. Anyone know anything about the new read/write CD drive from Panasonic?
  12. The model number is the LF1004AB.  It's supposed to be an internal
  13. 4X SCSI CD with a rewriteable technology called PD.  The drive is about
  14. $500 and the writeable media about $50/disk.  Could this possibly be
  15. made to work with an Amiga 4000?

  17. If not, what drive would you all recommend?  Should I jump on the
  18. (relatively) cheap 4X technology or wait for the 6X or the 8x?
  19. Does it make a difference on the Amiga?  I have an (ancient) GVP
  20. SCSI card.  Will any of the newer drives still work with SCSI1 or
  21. will I have to shell out for a SCSI2 interface?

  23. Whew!  That's a lot of questions.  I'm trying to make the best use
  24. of bandwidth.
